A Happy Wednesday to all my esteemed readers and hopefully everyone had a great Tuesday.

Travelling the world is a wonderful thing and it is perhaps almost everyone’s desire. This is so because the world is full of beautiful and breath taking places; each endowed with it’s unique but hearthrobing features and characteristics.

I have always dreamt of travelling to lovely places for work and vacation. However, living in a landlocked country like Zambia increased that enthusiasm and desire to the point where I scribbled down every place I dreamt of visiting in my little diary. Thus, today I am going to reveal my secret travel destinations to you and hopefully you will find one or two places that you would love to visit on my list. These are places that I would love to visit some day, when God permits it and they are based on my personal preferences, interests and sentiments; so this could also be a good way for you to know your writer better😁

After visiting the Victoria Falls in Southern Zambia, Livingstone, I thought to myself, ” if Zambia is this beautiful when it is landlocked, there must be more beautiful sceneries and landmarks out there” and that is how my travel research began.

Eiffel Tower, Champ de Mars, Paris

So, the first place I would love to visit is Paris, France. From the information I gathered from the media and people, I learnt to associate Paris with romance, good food; and beautiful and lively architecture- however there should be more to it. As such,  I would to visit the live city of Paris and end my tour at the famous wrought-iron lattice Eiffel Tower in Champ de Mars, named after engineer, Gustave Eiffel. Whether alone or with a special someone, it would be lovely to experience life in the city of romance, have lunch or dinner at the nicest restaurant at the tower and probably do my hair at the salons in the tower😁

Namsan Tower, Soeul.

My second destination in the world is South Korea, Seoul and I am so excited about this one. My interest to visit South Korea was driven by my constant exposure to Korean dramas which influenced me to fall in love with the country’s unique culture, learn Korean Hangul and have keen interest to visit the wonderful country of Oppas (brother or sweetheart); most especially the famous Namsan Tower. I first heard about it in the famous Korean drama, ” Boys over Flowers” and later went on to hear it being mentioned in other Korean dramas. Who knows i’ll get to taste the 30won coffee that Guy Jun Pyo (Lee Min Ho) and Geum Jandi (Ku Hye Sun) used to enjoy at the tower.😁

Colosseum, Rome, Italy

Media has been of great influence when it comes to some places. Watching cartoons at a young age introduced me to the existence of the Colosseum in Italy, Rome. I loved watching gladiatorial cartoons and this sparked my interest to visit the Colosseum one day.

However, I would also love to visit the beautiful, breath-taking floating city of Venice, Italy, a city built on more than 100 small islands in a lagoon of the Adriatic Sea. I would be thrilled to travel through the canal and gaze upon the ancient Renaissance and Gothic palaces there.

Taj Mahal, Agra.

India is rich in culture and heritage and it is one of the reasons I would love to visit the place most especially the city of  Agra, home to the famous Taj Mahal, the ivory-white marble mausoleum that erected in the period of the Mughal Empire by Emperor Shah Jahan.

Japan is overally a beautiful place but due to my love for nature, I would like to believe it’s most pretty in the period of cherry blossoms, when the season of spring is in the air, evidenced by the blossoms of cherry trees across the entire country. It would surely be lovely to visit during this time.♥️

Nature is soothing to the soul. I feel peaceful and happy when surrounded by nature and this is why another one of my destinations is Fiordland National Park in New Zealand. I hear it has fields of bright purple Russell Lupins blooming at the of November and the start of December. And just so you know anything purple is beautiful.

Cristo Redentor ( Christ, the Redeemer), Rio de Jainero, Brazil.

Rio de Jainero, Brazil is another one of my dream places to visit. It’s beautiful culture and heritage calls to me especially the art deco statue of Jesus Christ, The Cristo Redentor ( Christ the Redeemer). It stands tall as an insignia of Christianity around the world and serves as a cultural icon of people in Rio de Jainero and Brazil in general.
